Pretty disgusted that we parked up outside the hotel and were advised by the reception “ you can park anywhere for free until 15/05/25” this was clearly not true. We later got a parking ticket for over €200 and spend several hours at the local police station to fill out all the forms . Not great advice, not impressed.

We are a family of four who have had the pleasure to stay at Hotel Vento del Sud (considered a 3 star property) from July 10, to July 18, 2023. The room was well equipped with wardrobe, fully stocked mini bar, safe and desk with phone. The room had a good sized bathroom, with large shower stall and good shower water pressure, bidet and ample toiletries Although our room (situated on the ground floor) was a bit small, it had everything we needed including a laundry rack/clothes pins on the terrace to hang wet clothes. My daughter and her husband had a larger room with balcony on the second floor. The beds, pillows and room temperature was very comfortable. The amazing housekeeping staff were attentive and provided us with clean towels every day. Clean sheets and pillow cases were changed several times during our stay. Complimentary beach towels were also provided. We enjoyed everyday, bar quality cappuccinos and espressos (carefully prepared by Mario and sometimes Claudio) along with a great breakfast with sweet and savory items, fresh fruits, juices, cereal, yogurts, croissants, danishes and especially Antonina’s home baked goodies. Even boiled eggs were available upon request. A memorable moment for my husband was when Mario picked the last fresh lemon from the lemon tree on the patio, just so my husband could have it in his hot water lemon tea (see photo). The Hotel is walking distance to the beautiful turquois sandy San Vito Lo Capo beach and to many other amenities such as the Supermarket, pharmacies, bakeries, good restaurants, self service laundry and even our TDS Services car rental was just down the street from the Hotel. The best feature of the Hotel is the amazing, professional, attentive and friendly staff. We were greeted and treated everyday as if we were family members. We were given great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The housekeeping staff worked tirelessly everyday to keep everything clean and sparkling. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone and to families for a safe and enjoyable vacation in San Vito lo Capo. Note, that the Hotel also has 24 hour surveillance and front desk services which gives guests a sense of security and safety. A special thanks goes to Mario, Emanuela, Francesco and Claudio at Reception who were always so kind and helpful. Also many thanks to Francesca, Sery, Rosalia and Francesca #2 in housekeeping who kept our rooms spotless. Thank you to Francesco, the owner of the property for providing a beautiful and well maintained structure; Antonina for baking delicious cakes especially my favourite “la torta di Pistacchio” and to Davide in back office who with patience, assisted me with my booking. Hotel composto da due edifici uno di fronte all'altro, posizione comodissimo a due minuti a piedi da via Savoia (la via centrale) e a breve distanza dal mare. Camera bellissima, spaziosa, pulita e tranquillissima (la nostra si trovava nell'edificio in stile moresco) con accanto un piccolo patio ad uso comune molto carino e nel medesimo stile. Sala colazione sulla terrazza all'ultimo piano, cibo buono (torte spettacolari e freschissime), vario e abbondante. Punto di forza il personale dell'hotel, tutti gentilissimi e disponibili, si attivavano immediatamente in caso di necessità o problemi, raramente abbiamo riscontrato in altri hotel una tale disponibilità. Di sicuro torneremo, super consigliato.

Un hotel nuovo e ben arredato, la sua ubicazione è a 200 metri dalla spiaggia. Sono stato in inverno ma, pensando al caos estivo, è un'ottima soluzione per chi vuole stare in una zona non totalmente immersa nella movida. Le stanze sono comode e arredate con gusto, senza fronzoli. Il gestore è stato molto gentile. Si dorme bene. Vi ritornerò sicuramente

Una piccola premessa. Sono abituato a leggere recensioni cattive che spesso non rispettano chi ci lavora. Altre volte ma poche con estrema signorilità consigliano o evidenziano difetti reali. Ho anche io un hotel sul mare di Viareggio e gli sforzi sono tanti per far star bene gli ospiti. Detto questo posso dire che la Sicilia è una terra meravigliosa e parlando di questo hotel ho notato disponibilità serietà accoglienza. Nuova struttura ben tenuta e pulita. Posizione silenziosa e un passo dal centro. Secondo me basta questo per godersi una giusta e meritata vacanza. Bravi.
